“I thought I was dying shooting at war”

Hrithik Roshan: "I thought I was dying shooting War"

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan says in an interview that he was “on the brink of depression”. The actor remembers well that he felt like he was “dying” while working on his 2019 film War.

In the podcast with his fitness trainer Kris Gethin, Hrithik discusses his physical transformation and his mental health during the filming of his movie War. While he was getting ready, he was very focused on perfection. That didn’t go well.

“My goal was to achieve perfection, but I wasn’t ready for that at all. I felt like I was dying. It was a challenge to complete the recordings. After the movie I started experiencing adrenaline fatigue. For 3-4 months I could not train. I wasn’t feeling well. I was really on the brink of depression and completely lost. Then I realized that I had to change something in my life.

Hrithik Roshan was last seen in the movie Vikram Vedha along with Saif Ali Khan and Radhika Apte. Hrithik is currently working on Fighter in which he can be seen alongside Deepika Padukone and Anil Kapoor. The action movie is directed by Siddharth Anand and is scheduled to be released in January 2024.
