When Prithvi Shaw, who scored a century in his first Test match, was not selected for any series on the West Indies tour, he decided to play for the Duleep Trophy. He will now play county cricket in England. Earlier, Prithvi Shaw gave an interview to cricket website Cricbuzz.

On being kicked out of the India squad, Prithvi Shaw said, “When I was dropped from the team, they didn’t tell me the reason. Some said fitness might be the reason, but I went to the National Cricket Academy and passed all the tests there. “. I did it. I then scored runs in domestic cricket and IPL, then got a place in the T20 team again. But now I didn’t get a chance against the West Indies, so I’m very disappointed.

Prithvi Shaw further said in a conversation with Cricbuzz: “I started to like being alone. I don’t have any friends. People talk a lot about me but those who know me know who I am. This generation is what’s going on with.. You can’t share your views. As soon as you say something, it’s on social media the next day. I have very few friends.”

23-year-old Prithvi Shaw has played five Tests, 6 ODIs and one T20 cap for India so far. Shaw has 339 runs in Tests, 189 runs in ODI and zero runs in T20 matches. Shaw was dismissed for nil in his first T20 International match.
