‘I catch the thief, my friends leave me’, the policeman protested

In India, a police officer staged a sit-in against the officers of his own police station.

According to Indian media reports, a police officer in Jalandhar state staged a dharna against the officers of his own police station and blocked the Jalandhar highway by lying down in front of a bus.

Petty brothers tried to persuade Sukhjit Singh but the official did not listen to anyone.

The policeman says, I catch the thief and the accomplice takes the bribe and leaves.

The official’s video is going viral on social media, in which he can be seen lying on the road and protesting and is being told about the bribery of his own police station officials.

According to the report, the police official said that he had arrested the accused in a case a few days ago, after which he was taken to Bhogpur police station, but his fellow officers released him after taking a bribe.

The protesting policeman was asked by fellow officers to move off the highway but he did not move, Sukhjeet said, adding that he was even kicked by the officers.
