Hurricane Rose destroys Indian states

Hurricane Rose has wreaked havoc in several states after hitting India. Life in the coastal areas has been disrupted after heavy rains.

Many cities in Maharashtra, including the Indian cities of Mumbai, Hyderabad, Deccan, Kolkata and Gujarat, have been badly affected by Hurricane Rose.

Strong winds and rain have wreaked havoc and uprooted trees. Water has entered homes, shops, offices and hospitals. Electricity and communication systems have also been destroyed, while train and flight operations have also been suspended.

The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast more rains in 72 hours.
