Orban himself said this last Saturday Parliament could begin its spring sessions on February 26thVote on Sweden joining the military alliance.

This vote could conclude a long processmarked by constant delays in ratification by Fidesz, whose MPs claimed they could not support Sweden’s accession due to alleged “unfair” criticism from politicians from the Nordic country about the state of democracy in Hungary.

In his letter today Kovács asks that Parliament discuss the issue on the first day of the sessionwhich should be confirmed with the publication of the agenda for this parliamentary day.
