Huge quarrel within Shiba Inu community

Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, is asking the community to ignore anything negative about the project. In a tweet from yesterday, Kusama suggests that these types of messages always carry an underlying motive. According to him, these are often people from competing projects.

Mutual struggles

It’s not clear at this point what exactly the lead developer is referring to with his post. Earlier there was a small argument between the Shiba Inu team and the developers of Pawswap, an independent team that is building a decentralized exchange platform on Shibarium.

Shibarium is the second layer on Shiba Inu that should be launched soon, making it possible to use smart contracts for Shiba Inu. Earlier this week, LUCIE (@LucieSHIB), a prominent Shiba influencer, spoke out about the negative stories Pawswap spread about BONE, Shibarium’s gas token.

It seems that the feud between Shiba Inu and Pawswap is also a result of the above reporting. The developers of Shiba Inu claim that ShibaSwap is Shibarium’s only official decentralized exchange.

In response, the Pawswap team responded that there can be no “official decentralized exchange” on a decentralized network at all. “We just build what people want,” says the Pawswap team.

Manipulation

In particular, it seems that the Pawswap team is out to stir up trouble within the Shiba Inu community. For example, by fabricating a fake tweet from Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, in which he supposedly stated that he sold his BONE tokens for “powerful tokens.”

In any case, Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, is fed up with Pawswap’s behaviors, which he says are only designed to harm the project and enrich themselves. It’s quite funny to see how seriously people take each other in the world of memecoins, which is basically about nothing.
