Huawei Smart Backpack supports HarmonyOS Connect
To get around the difficulties caused by sanctions in markets outside of China, Huawei has given a lot of freedom to its creativity and from time to time launches quite unexpected gadgets, as is the case.
The brand is preparing to launch the 9um Smart Positioning Children’s Backpack for children, which is characterized by being equipped with a GPS system and a small screen. Thanks to the positioning system, parents are informed about the location of their children, with an accuracy of up to 5CEP.
On the other hand, mochla also supports HarmonyOS Connect, which allows you to connect to the “Smart Life” app. In this application, three protection areas can be defined, regarding children’s travel, such as Home/School/Grandparents. In this way, every time the child enters or leaves one of the defined areas, the parents receive a notification.
The geographical location of the child is recorded every two minutes
For added security and control, the backpack’s built-in high-frequency mode records a fixed point every two minutes to pinpoint the child’s location in real time. All information is recorded in a history that can be stored for up to three months, and parents can check their children’s geographical position on their smartphone.
Ergonomics have not been forgotten either, and the 9um Smart Positioning Kids Backpack has a U-shaped handle design, which allows the backpack to fit more closely around the child’s shoulder and neck. The backpack is also padded and has vents to make it easier to carry.
The design of the strap mentioned above will also guarantee, on the other hand, that the bottom of the backpack is not placed below the waist, to avoid pressure and injury to the waist, due to the weight and force exerted. For this same reason, this backpack is ideal for children with a height of less than 135 cm.
1.54-inch screen with time information
But the 9um Smart Positioning children’s backpack has another surprise in store for users. The gadget is also equipped with a 1.54-inch screen that is waterproof and dustproof.
But best of all, the screen can display useful information such as class schedules, electronic signatures, themed clocks, among others. The schedule for the next school day can also be automatically updated daily.
Huawei is expected to make the 9um Smart Positioning Kids Backpack available soon, especially as it is currently recruiting users to test a beta version of the device. Unfortunately, there is no information on the cost of this device that will please both parents and children.
