In July 2021, Huawei officially launched the series P50 in China. The lineup was the company’s last flagship series and featured world-class specs and features. Now, a new report has revealed the cost to repair the P50 Pro, and the prices are quite high.

This includes various components like display, front and rear camera modules, rear panel, and much more. In particular, the report indicated that the screen alone could cost an impressive 2,479 yuan (about 325 euros). That would make its price higher than that of some upper mid-range smartphones.

For those who don’t know, the P50 Pro has a 6.6-inch curved OLED BOE display with 2700 x 1228 resolution. The display has a 120 Hz refresh rate, 1440 Hz pwM dimming, and a 300 Hz touch sample rate. It can display over 1 billion colors and has a wide color gamut P3. Huawei P50 / P50 Pro

The P50 series consists of two variants: Huawei P50 and Huawei P50 Pro, but none of them come with 5G support due to the ban.
