Huawei Mate 50 Pro: the king of DxOMark arrived in Portugal today

The Huawei Mate 50 Pro, currently number 1 in the ranking of the best smartphones for photography by DxOMark, arrived on the Portuguese market today.

The top model and proven to be a photography giant reaches the national market at a cost of 1,249.99 euros.

To celebrate the tenth anniversary of the launch of the Mate series, today the new Mate 50 Pro model arrives in Portugal. The terminal is already available in the national market at a price of 1,249.99 euros.

Recently, the Huawei model was considered by the DxOMark platform as the best smartphone for photography today. All thanks to the XMAGE Ultra aperture camera that consists of the physical aperture adjustable in ten different levels.

And this is a model that will meet the needs of both amateur and professional photographers. When activated in auto mode, Smart Aperture automatically adjusts to match the aperture size to the identified scene.

Already in professional mode, the most advanced photographers can manually adjust the depth of field and the degree of blur. On the other hand, advanced algorithms and the XD Fusion Pro imaging engine work together for better light input which then translates into sharper captured images with highlight and shadow detail.

The Mate 50 Pro also has a night mode and a portrait mode. As the name implies, in the first mode, photos are captured with distinct areas of light and shadow, even if the lighting conditions are poor. Already in portrait mode, a background blur is applied to make the main subject of the image stand out.

Remember that the model has a triple rear camera configuration that has a 50-megapixel primary sensor, complemented by a 13-megapixel ultra-wide angle and a telephoto sensor with an incredible 64-megapixel. The latter also integrates a 3.5x optical zoom and a digital zoom of up to 200x.

And in the rest of the specifications, the Huawei Mate 50 Pro also demonstrates its power. Starting with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor which, due to the sanctions imposed on the brand, is limited to 4G communications.

Paired with the Qualcomm chip is 8 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage.

The front area is occupied by the 6.74-inch OLED screen that provides a resolution of 2616×1212 pixels and has Huawei Kunlun Glass protection.

For the rest, the Mate 50 Pro is powered by a 4,700 mAh battery with support for fast charging at 67 watts.
