Huawei Mate 50 Pro is the new flagship smartphone in Europe for €1,299


Huawei has just presented its latest flagship to Europe, the Huawei Mate 50 Proabout a week after its launch in the Chinese domestic market.

The price of the new Huawei smartphone starts at €1,299 for the Silver and Black color schemes, but can reach €1,399 for versions with Vegan Leather upper, in warm orange.

The European version features Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor in a Huawei smartphone, currently the most powerful chipset for Android mobile devices.

Furthermore, in Europe, the new smartphone runs the EMUI 13 operating system, based on Android, while in China the HarmonyOS 3.0 platform is used.

The “Mate” range is one of the most recognized and appreciated by consumers in Europe. In itself, it brings together the latest developments of the brand and the most cutting-edge technologies that each year tend to improve the market. mobile, especially in processing power and photography. However, it should be noted that there are differences between the Huawei Mate 50 Pro smartphone sold in Europe and the homonymous model sold in China.

First of all, the global version does not support satellite communications, the brand’s newly introduced Satellite Connection feature.

Second, the European (and global) Huawei Mate 50 Pro uses the aforementioned EMUI 13 platform (interface). In turn, this is based on the Android 13 operating system, without access to Google services.

However, the Chinese version of the smartphone in question uses Huawei’s proprietary HarmonyOS 3.0 operating system.
