Huawei Mate 40 sells out in seconds thanks to high demand and low production

With production down because of the sanctions imposed by the Donald Trump administration, Huawei now faces a major search for new releases that are in high demand.

Launched in October alongside three other models , the new Huawei Mate 40 was available in new stock this Tuesday in China and, according to the Financial Associated Press, shortly after the pre-sale started all the stock had already been exhausted given the great interest of the Chinese public in the flagship.

According to rumors, Huawei is trying to solve the problem of high demand as much as it could, but limited production due to U.S. sanctions makes it difficult to manufacture smartphones with the powerful Kirin 9000 5G chip. That way, you still have to wait to find out if the company will bet on MediaTek’s chipset or keep its chip production low.

The already exhausted stock of Mate 40 will hit the market on December 21 and has a 6.5-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution, OLED panel and 90 Hz rate, in addition to offering the before mentioned Kirin 9000 chip with 5G network, 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.

Huawei maintained its prominence in photography by betting on a main camera of 50 MP, an ultra-wide lens with 16 MP and another of 8 MP with zoom lens, with another dedicated sensor for focus.
