Huawei’s new laptop is lightweight and very similar in design to Microsoft’s Surface series

After the news that Huawei is working on its next high-end Mate Series 50 and a new folding smartphone, we know that the Chinese brand is also developing a new laptop to compete with Microsoft’s Surface series.

The information is advanced on the Chinese social network Weibo through the Changan Digital King reader, who assures that the model is a two-in-one and that it will have a design similar to its direct competitor.

The same leaker adds that the launch of Huawei’s new laptop could happen very soon, more specifically at the end of this month in the Chinese market.

From the same publication we can know that the design will be similar to that of Microsoft’s Surface series, as we already said, and that it will have a weight of 709 grams, which for a laptop is a good feature.

For now, none of its crucial specifications are known, but there are already rumors about the price at which it will be traded. In an attempt to rival Microsoft’s Surface line, Huawei’s new laptop is expected to cost around 955 euros. If this information is confirmed, it will be more affordable than several models in the Surface family and may even outshine this series from Microsoft.
