Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan is happy with the success of his film Fighter. Fighter is doing great collections at the box office. The film has been included in the 100 crore club and is now all set to enter the 150 crore club soon. Deepika Padukone will be seen in the lead role opposite Hrithik in the film. Hrithik and Deepika have done great deeds. Hrithik has been in the industry for 24 years and has now spoken about the box office collection. Hrithik recently said that numbers make a difference.
In a special conversation with Pinkvilla, Hrithik said that the biggest validation comes from the box office returns. I used to be a little shy about talking about it, but it’s the truth. The biggest validation is the box office returns, especially when you make a film to entertain the audience, and the numbers it brings in.
Hrithik further said, “The people I love, I hope they like my work.” When I praise them, there is a perspective from which they must look at my work and when I am happy with that perspective, elevate I think of myself a little higher because I see myself from their perspective. The reaction of my sons, my family and my partner is very important.
Hrithik said that he doesn’t do films just for the numbers. Their performance brings them success. I had done a film called Vikram Vedha. Which was a flop at the box office. It was a flop, but my work was appreciated and gave me strength. I think my mission is growth, not box office success. When that part of me is happy and people say, “We saw something new, you did something new,” then I feel like I’m growing.
