Hrithik Roshan and Junior NTR are teaming up for the first time in the action thriller “War 2.” The film’s Telugu version has generated significant interest among Tollywood producers, with reports suggesting it could fetch between ₹85 crore and ₹120 crore.
Big Deal for War 2 Telugu Version
Tollywood producers Naga Vamshi and Sunil Narang are reportedly vying for the rights to the Telugu version. According to 123 Telugu, the deal is expected to be finalized soon. The original “War” film, released in 2019, was a huge success, and fans are eagerly anticipating the sequel.
Cast and Release Date
The film stars Hrithik Roshan as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, reprising his role from the first installment, and Junior NTR as the antagonist. Bollywood actress Kiara Advani will also be part of the cast. “War 2” is scheduled for release on August 14, 2025, coinciding with Independence Day. The film is being produced by Yash Raj Films under the banner of Aditya Chopra.
