The launch of Apple’s iPhone 15 Pro brought with it the “Action Button,” replacing the traditional mute switch with something versatile and programmable. We’ve seen a number of interesting uses for this, and Apple recently added the translation feature with the iOS 17.2 beta.
This week OpenAI enabled voice interaction for free accounts, so we can now talk to ChatGPT like other virtual assistants.
Now we will tell you how to use ChatGPT as a voice assistant.
How do I activate ChatGPT using the action button?
- Open the App Store and download ChatGPT on your iPhone 15 Pro.
Once you’ve downloaded the app, go to your iPhone’s Settings app and navigate to the Action Button tab.
In the action button menu, scroll until you see the “Shortcuts” option. Search for your ChatGPT shortcuts. There you will see the option “Start a voice conversation with ChatGPT”.
Once setup, simply press and hold the action button and start talking to ChatGPT.
