Dubai: Expo 2012 will be the world’s largest business fair this year, attracting tourists from all over the world.
With less than two weeks to go before the launch of Expo Dubai, the six-month-long event will run from October 1 to March 31, 2012, with online tickets available at Expo Dubai.com. are available.
It is divided into three categories based on ticket price and related facilities, available at over 2500 authorized retailers and online travel agents in over 100 markets worldwide.
Some tourists will also get free honorary tickets, below is a list of those who will be eligible for free admission to Expo Dubai.
Special people, tourists aged 60 and over, children under the age of 18, students with valid identities from any educational institution in the world, passengers of Emirates Airlines going to Dubai and transiting here for more than six hours. Û”

It should be noted that Dubai residents and international visitors visiting more than 200 pavilions in Dubai will get special passports as souvenirs.
Officials said the special passport as a souvenir was introduced at the 1967 World’s Fair in Montreal. Themes are adorned with pavilions (Possible Mission, Opportunity Pavilion, A, Mobility Pavilion and Terra and Sustainability Pavilion).
As the UAE is also celebrating its Golden Jubilee this year, this passport also pays tribute to the Father of the Nation, His Highness Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, with a special gold foil stamp on the page with his picture. The picture is from 1971, when the UAE was born as a nation.
This Passport Expo 2020 will be available at all official stores in Dubai at a price of 20 dirhams. These stores will also be available at Terminal 3 of Dubai Airports and online Expo stores.
