You can block people on social media or even so they can’t call or text you, and you can do the same in Gmail.
If you’re tired of getting emails from someone, you can block it to avoid the hassle of constantly deleting spam from the same people.
You can block people in Gmail on the desktop website and in iPhone, iPad, or Android mobile apps.
Steps to Block Someone in Gmail
1) First, open an email on the Gmail website or mobile app. Select the icon in the three-dot menu that is aligned with the sender’s name. It will look a little different on the phone, but the menu icon is still to the right of the sender’s name.
2) Then select «Block [nombre]” in the menu.
3) Finally, confirm your choice by selecting “Block” from the next menu. On iPhone or Android, you will not receive the confirmation message, but the person will be blocked immediately.
4) You will see the “Unblock sender” option in the email if you change your mind.
That simple. You will no longer receive email from that person and your Gmail account will be a little more spam free.
