How many people offered Friday prayers in Masjid al-Haram yesterday?

On the second Friday of Ramadan, there was a big increase in the number of worshipers at Masjid Haram, where about 1.5 lakh people offered Friday prayers, the picture of which has also been shared on social media.

During the blessed month, millions of pilgrims from all over the world reach Makkah to perform Umrah, where people perform their worship in a peaceful environment.

According to Al-Arabiya News, about one and a half million pilgrims offered prayers in front of the Kaaba in Masjid Haram last Friday, the second Friday of Ramadan.

In the pictures circulating on social media, it can be seen that the corridors and floors of Al-Masjid al-Haram, its basement, roofs and courtyards were full of worshippers. The lines of worshipers were spread to the streets, squares and neighborhoods around the mosque.

According to the report, the administration had established a system of excellent services in the corridors, halls and courtyards of the Holy Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque, thanks to which the crowd of millions of worshipers did not face any obstacle.

Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Sudais, President of the Public Presidency, informed about the success of the operational plan for the second Friday of the holy month and said that a large number of people had reached Masjid Haram since dawn on Friday.

The administration also informed that the Baitullah Sharif mosque has also been provided with the best cleanliness and sanitation, steps have been taken to disinfect the environment.
