Abu Dhabi: The United Arab Emirates issued Golden Iqama to 80,000 people last year, and more than 62 million immigration cases were handled.
According to Urdu News, the government agency for Iqama and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai has said that Golden Iqama was issued to 80 thousand people during the year 2022.
The government agency says that in the year 2022, more than 62 million cases were handled, of which 46 million people were processed through land, sea and air routes.
Also, by the end of last year 2022, golden iqamas were issued to all groups, their number was 79 thousand 617, while 47 thousand 150 golden iqamas were issued during 2021.
Director General of Iqama and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai, Mohammad Al Marri, says that providing facilities to those who refer to the department is our main goal.
He said that good planning has been done for this purpose, our institution has also won several awards for excellence.
