Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films has been making waves in Bollywood with its horror-comedy films. Starting with ‘Stree’ in 2018, the production house has given the audience a string of successful films like ‘Bhediya’, ‘Munjya’, and ‘Stree 2’. Building on this success, Maddock Films has announced an ambitious plan to release eight new horror-comedy films over the next three years.
A Look at the Lineup
The production house has revealed its lineup for the next three years, with two films scheduled for release each year. The lineup includes ‘Thama’, ‘Shakti Shalini’, and ‘Chamunda’ in 2025, followed by ‘Bhediya 2’ in 2026. The subsequent years will see the release of ‘Stree 3’, ‘Maha Munjya’, ‘Pehla Mahayudh’, and ‘Doosra Mahayudh’.
Release Dates Announced
The release dates for the films have been announced, with ‘Thama’ scheduled for release on Diwali in 2025, followed by ‘Shakti Shalini’ on December 31, 2025. ‘Bhediya 2’ will hit the screens on August 14, 2026, while ‘Chamunda’ will be released on December 4, 2025. The release dates for the remaining films are August 13, 2027, for ‘Stree 3’, December 24, 2027, for ‘Maha Munjya’, August 11, 2028, for ‘Pehla Mahayudh’, and October 18, 2028, for ‘Doosra Mahayudh’.
Stars Share the Lineup
Actors Vicky Kaushal, Rajkumar Rao, and Varun Sharma have shared the lineup on their Instagram stories, sparking speculation about their involvement in the upcoming films. While the cast for each film has not been officially announced, it is clear that Maddock Films is gearing up to entertain the audience with its big vision.
