Honor, the brand that spun off from Huawei, has just unveiled a robust new smartphone. This mid-range device, called the X7c 5G, is now available in India. It offers some neat upgrades from its 4G sibling, the Honor X7c, which came out last October. That earlier model used a Snapdragon 685 chip, built on a 6-nanometer process, with its fastest core hitting 2.8 GHz.
The new Honor X7c 5G steps things up with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. This new chip uses a more advanced 4-nanometer process. Its quickest core runs at 2.2 GHz, offering better power use and handling demanding apps more smoothly. Plus, it packs an Adreno 613 graphics chip, which means a nicer experience for mobile gaming compared to the Adreno 610 found in the Snapdragon 685.

The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip works with 8 GB of RAM. You can even add another 8 GB of virtual RAM for extra power. The phone also comes with a generous 256 GB of storage. It runs on MagicOS 8.0, which is Honor’s system based on Android 14.
The Honor X7c 5G features a large 6.8-inch LCD screen. It delivers clear Full HD+ visuals. What’s more, the display has a fast 120 Hz refresh rate. This means on-screen movements look incredibly smooth, refreshing at 120 frames per second. The screen can also get quite bright, reaching up to 850 Nits.

Honor states that the X7c 5G is built to last, earning a 5-star durability rating from SGS. SGS is a global organization known for checking and certifying product standards. This rating confirms the phone can handle drops and impacts well. It also has an IP64 rating, meaning it’s protected against dust and water splashes from any direction.

For taking pictures, the phone sports a 50-megapixel main camera. It also includes a 2-megapixel sensor for measuring depth. On the front, there’s a 5-megapixel camera for selfies.
The phone packs a large 5,200 mAh battery. This battery supports 35W fast charging, getting you back to full power quickly. Other useful features include a fingerprint sensor on the side of the phone. You also get stereo speakers, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and support for dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0.

The Honor X7c 5G will go on sale starting August 20, 2025. You can find it on Amazon India. It comes in two color options: Moonlight White and Forest Green. During its launch period, the phone will be available at a special price of 14,999 Indian Rupees.
