Honor X6c Launched with 120Hz Display and Helio G81 Ultra Chipset

The tech world just got a new player in the budget smartphone game. Honor, a brand that split from Huawei to take on the global market, has launched its latest affordable smartphone, the X6c. This device packs a punch with its 120 Hz LCD screen, up to 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a massive 5,300 mAh battery.

So, what makes the X6c special? For starters, its 6.61-inch LCD screen uses IPS technology, which means you get sharper colors and a more vivid display. The screen also refreshes at 120 Hz, making it as smooth as some mid-range smartphones. The display is bright too, with a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. And, with a hole-punch design, you get a 5-megapixel selfie camera.

On the back, there’s a 50-megapixel main camera with an f/1.8 aperture, along with a QVGA camera to help with depth sensing. Under the hood, the X6c is powered by a MediaTek Helio G81 Ultra chip, which has a maximum clock speed of 2 GHz. This chip can handle the 120 Hz refresh rate with ease. You also get 6 or 8 GB of RAM, which can be expanded to 16 GB with virtual RAM, and 128 or 256 GB of storage.

The X6c runs on MagicOS 9, which is based on Android 15. The phone also supports fast charging at 35 W, thanks to Honor’s SuperCharge technology. With an IP64 rating, the device is dust and water-resistant. You also get a fingerprint sensor on the power button, an AI button, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack.

Honor is offering the X6c in three colors: Moonlight White, Midnight Black, and Ocean Cyan. The phone is priced at 599 Malaysian ringgit, which is around 4,600… however, we’ll focus on the specs and features instead.

According to sources like GSMArena, the Honor X6c is shaping up to be a solid budget smartphone option.
