Honor has just unveiled its latest mid-range smartphone, the X60 GT, in China. This new device boasts an impressive 6,300 mAh battery, the largest capacity the brand has ever used in a smartphone.
The phone’s battery supports 80W fast charging, allowing it to reach 47% in just 15 minutes. It can also stream video for 24 hours on a single charge.
Battery and Charging
The X60 GT features a Bypass Charging mode that directly uses power from the adapter, reducing heat buildup inside the device. The phone also has a large 5,514 square millimeter heat dissipation area to keep things cool.
The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, an upgraded version of the 2021 flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. This processor can reach speeds of up to 3.2 GHz and works with 12-16 GB of RAM and 256-512 GB of storage.
Display and Cameras
The X60 GT has a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a Full HD+ resolution (2,664 x 1,200 pixels) and a 120 Hz refresh rate. It can reach a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.
The phone’s rear camera features a 50-megapixel main sensor with f/1.9 aperture and OIS, along with a 2-megapixel depth sensor. The front camera has a 16-megapixel sensor with f/2.45 aperture.
Software and Other Features
The X60 GT runs on Honor’s MagicOS 9.0, based on Android 15. This software includes AI-powered features like image expansion, style transfer, and object removal. It also has a digital assistant and notification features inspired by the Dynamic Island.
The phone has an IP65 rating, protecting it from water jets, and an SGS 5-star durability certification.
The X60 GT is available in black, white, and blue, with the blue version featuring a unique grid pattern on the back.
