The office has been announced to close the office after the arrest of 7 employees in the police operation at the democracy media office in Hong Kong.
Police raided his office yesterday and arrested seven local and foreign members, the French news agency AFP reported, citing Stand News.
The agency called the police action a violation of media freedom and said the office had been closed since the incident.
Pressure on local media has increased since the pro-democracy protests in the region in 2019 under Chinese influence.
During the raid on the stand news office, police confiscated phones, computers, documents and thousands of dollars, and the acting media editor was handcuffed, the report said.
Explaining the details of the incident later, in a statement issued on his Facebook post, Stand News said that due to the current situation, Stand News has stopped its work immediately.
The news agency added that it would not update its website and social media account.
In the report, Steve Lee, senior superintendent of the Hong Kong National Security Police, alleged that the agency published various news articles from July 2020 to November 2021, criticizing the Hong Kong government and other alleged crimes.
