On Saturday, a hearing was held in a Delhi court in a case involving domestic violence between Punjabi singer Honey Singh and his wife. During the hearing, Honey Singh’s wife, Shalini Talwar, began crying in the courtroom itself. He put his entire point in front of Judge Tania Singh. He told the court how difficult his trip has covered so far.
Shalini said in front of the court: “I have no other option. I gave 10 years of my life. I gave up everything and supported him. Now he has left me.” After this, the magistrate asked him, “Now what do you want from the court? What is the condition of your marriage? Where is the love lost between the two of you?” Shalini suggested that he think about it once.
Honey Singh did not come to court for the hearing, so the magistrate expressed his displeasure. In this case, Honey Singh’s attorney sought a personal appearance waiver citing discomfort. He assured the Delhi court that he would appear at the next hearing date. However, it is now up to the court whether to give Honey Singh relief or to take strict measures.
It is worth noting that Honey Singh had recently issued a statement on her social media account. In this statement, he said: “All the accusations made by my wife Shalini Singh are completely false. I am deeply saddened by these accusations. I have never made a public statement before. From my letters to my health before. Various things have happened many times but I have never commented on any matter, but this time I considered it necessary to give a statement because my family members along with me have been included in the complaints. In addition, he said that all the accusations against him by his wife are completely unfounded.
