Honduran news outlet HCH Televisión Digital reported it. Jennifer was found lifeless at her home on Wednesday, October 1. Her family believes her ongoing battle with epilepsy played a role in her passing. Jennifer received constant medication for this condition, according to HCH Televisión Digital.
Jennifer had over 100,000 followers on TikTok. She also worked as a presenter for the Honduran channel CHTV. The news of her death brought an outpouring of grief. The Honduran podcast “El Showsero TV,” hosted by Youtuber Gazù Bbx, shared a heartfelt tribute.
The statement read, “With deep sorrow, from ‘El Showsero TV’ and the entire ‘El Eventazo: Pickle War’ team, we mourn the terrible loss of our dear participant Jennifer Rivas, from the ‘Los del Barrio’ team 🕊️.” The statement continued, describing Jennifer as “a person full of energy and enthusiasm who left a mark in every shared moment.” It also offered “our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time. 🫂” Fans online echoed these sad feelings. They wrote, “Rest in peace 😔🕊️” and “What sadness, may God comfort the pain of her loved ones 🙏🏼.”
The influencer community faced another tragedy. Content creator Luanna Araújo, her fiancé Korbinian Andreas Dengler, and their friend Herbson Nunes Negrão died. This happened on Luanna’s 29th birthday. The accident was a three-car crash on a highway.
The tragic accident happened on September 26. The trio was traveling in a car in Brazil. Their car hit two trucks on a highway. This was around 1:20 a.m., reported Brazilian news outlet g1. Firefighters rescued one of the truck drivers from the wreckage. This person was rushed to a hospital in critical condition. The other truck driver had only minor injuries. Authorities are now investigating what caused the crash.
Colegio Santa Sofía, an educational institution, also released a statement honoring Luanna. Colegio Santa Sofía posted a statement on Instagram. It read: “Colegio Santa Sofía expresses its sincerest condolences for the passing of Luanna Araújo, a former student of our institution and daughter of our dear sports coordinator, Cristiano Melo.” The message continued, “We unite in prayer, asking God to comfort the hearts of the family and all who shared Luanna’s life and friendship.” It added, “In this moment of pain, we reaffirm our solidarity and closeness with Cristiano and his family, with the hope of faith and the certainty of eternal life.”

Just a year before, Luanna had celebrated her birthday with a series of happy photos.
