I’ll show you step by step how to build your own pool sweeper 2.0 that will vacuum your pool, pool or pool beautifully. With a few elements and a little ingenuity, you can put together a pool cleaner that is just as effective as the store-bought ones.
Materials for assembling the floor sweeper
1 empty plastic bottle
1 1/2″ hose that extends to your drain point
1 scissors or cutter
1 mark
1 piece of tubular pipe approx. 1 m with thread at one end
1 thread for connecting pipe and hose
1 plastic clothing or nail brush
Glue, putty, Teflon
step by step
The first thing you need to do is mark a plastic bottle as I explain in the video and cut it with the help of a cutter or scissors.
Then add the brush, which gives this 2.0 pool sweeper functionality and support. Make sure you leave it very firm.
At the end of the bottle we insert the part of the pipe that does not have threads and glue or putty it with products suitable for water-resistant pipes.
On the other threaded end we place some Teflon and the accessories for inserting the hose, which I think you can also glue.
The idea is that the connections are resistant and no air or water escapes to create the suction necessary for this pool sweeper to function properly since we do not use a pump.
And done!
Fill the end of the hose completely with water, cover it with your finger and quickly place the pool sweeper into the pool and the end, holding with your finger, to the place where you want to drain the water.
The drain point should be lower than that of the floor sweeper. The lower the better, the more suction you get.
Speaking of swimming pools and clean water: I invite you to look into the topic of biopools.
In natural pools, the water is purified naturally, without the use of chemical compounds. You can swim in it in almost the same way as in a lake or pond with crystal clear water. It’s like an aquatic ecosystem at home as plants and stones are incorporated to keep the water clean.
