Buenos Aires will host the first Latin American edition of DePIN Day in November 2025, marking a significant expansion for decentralized physical infrastructure networks. The global conference series focuses on how Web3 incentives are transforming various sectors.
The event, set for November 18, 2025, will take place at the ArtLab cultural center during Devconnect Week in Buenos Aires. It aims to gather leaders, builders, and investors to discuss the future of decentralized infrastructure.
DePIN Day, a leading series dedicated to decentralized physical infrastructure networks, is making its debut on the continent. Organizers include Fluence, a cloudless computing platform for enterprise, and the Filecoin Foundation.
Collaborators Protocol Labs and ar.io will also participate. Discussions will explore how Web3 incentives are reshaping wireless networks, energy systems, sensors, computing, and storage. The event also promises new community announcements.
Confirmed speakers include Tom Trowbridge from Fluence, Juan Benet from Protocol Labs, Dylan Bane from Messari, and Adam Wozhey from Akash. Molly Mackinlay of FilOz, David Vorick from Glow, Vinayak Kurup from EV3, Doug Petkanics from Livepeer, and Maximiliano Ejberowicz from Silencio are also scheduled to speak.
Industry leaders have praised DePIN Day. Clara Tsao of the Filecoin Foundation stated that the event brings together founders who are “truly rethinking industries and infrastructure through DePIN.” Mark Rydon from Aethir called DePIN Day “one of my favorite events.”
DePIN Day has held over 13 editions worldwide, including in Denver, Berlin, Austin, Brussels, Seoul, Belgrade, Bangkok, Dubai, Hong Kong, and Singapore. It has become a central meeting point for the DePIN movement, bringing together thousands of builders and investors.
More than 150 ecosystem partners support DePIN Day. These include major names like Helium, Polygon, Multicoin Capital, Messari, and Akash.
Fluence, a key organizer, offers enterprise-grade computing at a lower cost than centralized cloud services. Its network pools capacity from global data centers, providing resources for AI, Web3, and general applications. Fluence is governed by its DAO, and its native FLT token facilitates governance and staking.
