A wave of disbelief swept through the entertainment world late Friday. News broke that actress Shefali Jariwala had passed away. For those closest to her, like well-known influencer Hindustani Bhau, the news hit especially hard. Bhau, deeply saddened, spoke out on Saturday, sharing many emotional thoughts about Shefali.
Shefali Jariwala, known for her appearance on ‘Bigg Boss 13’, died very suddenly. This shocking event left many people stunned. Hindustani Bhau, whose real name is Vikas Fhatak, felt this loss profoundly. He saw Shefali as a beloved sister, almost like a daughter. Every year, she would tie a Rakhi on his wrist, a symbol of their special bond. Bhau has shared much about their relationship, and he also questioned the circumstances of her death.
A Deeply Personal Connection
Bhau considered Shefali more than just a friend. He shared how three specific days each year meant waiting for her phone call: Raksha Bandhan, Ganpati Utsav, and Bhai Dooj. “She was like a daughter to me, not just a sister,” Bhau told ANI. “We spoke often. But on those three special days, I would eagerly await her call. I’d wonder what she would say, or what I should cook for her. Now, she’s gone from this world. I’ll just keep waiting for a call that will never come.” He even saved her name in his phone as ‘Chupdi’, a term of endearment.

Questions Surround Her Passing
Beyond his deep sorrow, Bhau expressed strong doubts about the cause of Shefali’s death. Reports suggested she suffered a heart attack. However, Bhau firmly disagreed. “I rarely form close bonds with people,” he explained. “I find it hard to build relationships. But some connections, like the one with Shefali, are deeply heartfelt. She was like family to me.” He couldn’t imagine what might have happened. “People are saying she had a heart attack, but her heart was not that weak,” he stated. “She was a woman, yes, but to her family, she was like a son. She took care of everyone.” Bhau highlighted her dedication, noting she recently spent 25 lakh for her father’s operation. “Only the post-mortem report will truly tell us the real reason behind Shefali’s death,” he concluded.
A Friend’s Heartbreak for the Family
Hindustani Bhau and Shefali first met in 2019 during the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 13’. Their bond formed quickly on the show and continued strongly afterward. Bhau also remembered Shefali’s kindness during their time in the house. When he fell ill on ‘Bigg Boss 13’, she nursed him back to health. He recalled her playful phone calls, asking when he would visit Dubai and what gifts he would bring back. “I would tell her I’d get them,” Bhau said, his voice heavy with emotion. “But I never thought this would happen. She was laughing and vibrant just recently. Now she’s just gone so suddenly, and it’s incredibly sad.” His deepest sympathy went out to her parents. “Only they can understand the immense sorrow of carrying their daughter’s funeral,” he shared.
