Henry Cavill is not done with Superman: “The cape is still in the closet”

Fans of Henry Cavill’s Superman can hope to see the British actor again in the Man of Steel costume. Despite the fact that everything points to Warner is watching in a film reboot starring a black Clark Kent, the interpreter has stated that "the cape is still in the closet", which indicates that he has not ruled out getting back into the skin of the iconic DC superhero.

In an interview for The Hollywood Reporter, the protagonist of ‘The Witcher’ leaves the door open upon his return to the saga. "I still have many stories to do as Superman and I would love the opportunity"he declared.

"Zod’s murder gave a reason for the character never to kill again. Superman fell to the ground and screamed afterwards. I don’t think that was originally in the script, but I wanted to show the pain that he had, feeling emotions that he did not choose, leaving him full of tears"he continued.

"There is an opportunity for growth behind that, to explore Superman’s psyche as a profound divine being, seemingly invulnerable, but with a very real feeling inside. As I always say, the cape is still stored in the closet"he added.

The interpreter, who praised Michael B. Jordan’s project of ‘Val-Zod’ for HBO Max, which will see another incarnation of Superman different from that of Clark Kent, stressed that "if Joaquin Phoenix made a wonderful movie about the Joker", there is a possibility that there are several Superman for the big screen. "There are many stories of Superman in the comics that happen at the same time", he exposed.
