Henrik Klaasen Falls to Bizarre Run-Out Against LSG

Henrik Klaasen’s luck took a strange turn during a match against the Lucknow Super Giants. The batter was in good form, scoring 26 runs off 17 balls, but got run out in an unusual manner.

Prince Yadav, despite possibly injuring his hand, made sure Klaasen’s wicket was taken. Klaasen’s face showed clear disappointment as he was forced to return to the pavilion.

This incident occurred during the 12th over of the Sunrisers Hyderabad innings. Nitish Rana hit a shot towards the front, but the ball bounced off Prince Yadav’s hand and hit the stumps at the non-striking end. Klaasen was far from the white line when the bails fell. Before this wicket, Klaasen and Rana had a 34-run partnership.

When Klaasen got out, Prince Yadav was seen writhing in pain. The medical staff came in to check on him. With Mayank Yadav and Akashdeep already injured, another injury would have been a significant blow to the LSG team. Fortunately, Prince Yadav was not injured and completed his 4-over spell, giving away only 29 runs and taking one wicket.

Despite Sunrisers Hyderabad’s batsmen not scoring big, the team managed to score 190 runs against the LSG.
