Veteran actor Dharmendra’s wife, Hema Malini, has issued a significant update regarding his health. She has also made a heartfelt appeal to fans for their prayers.
Malini shared a smiling photo of Dharmendra on her official Instagram account. She provided details about his ongoing care in the hospital.
She wrote in the caption, “I thank everyone for their concern about Dharam Ji, who are with him in the hospital. He is being continuously cared for, and we are all with him. I appeal to all of you to pray for his health to improve and for him to get well soon.”
Dharmendra was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital about ten days ago. This was initially stated to be for a routine check-up.
However, conflicting reports emerged recently regarding his condition. Some sources claimed his health was fragile.
Other reports suggested he had been moved from the Intensive Care Unit to a ventilator. However, Sunny Deol’s public relations team denied these ventilator reports to PTI.
Family members have been arriving at the hospital. His elder son, actor Sunny Deol, appeared visibly saddened during his visit.
Bobby Deol and his wife also arrived at the hospital in a distressed state. Actor Salman Khan was also seen at Breach Candy Hospital to inquire about Dharmendra’s well-being.
