Helicopter crashes in India, 2 pilots killed

A military helicopter has crashed in the Indian state of Chhattisgarh. Two pilots were killed in the crash.

According to Indian media reports, the helicopter crash occurred at Swami Vivek Nanda Airport, Raipur, Chhattisgarh.

The dead pilots have been identified as Captain Panda and Captain Srivastava. The accident happened during a routine training flight, as a result of which the helicopter was completely destroyed.

Sources claimed that one pilot died on the spot while another succumbed to his injuries at the hospital.

According to reports, the accident took place at 9:10 pm. According to the preliminary investigation, the accident took place due to a technical fault during the flight in the helicopter.

The crashed helicopter was Augusta, which crashed just a few kilometers from the runway.
