In the Jeddah agreement, the parties in conflict since April 15 in Sudan undertake to facilitate the arrival and distribution of urgent international aid, protect civilians and humanitarian personnel, and avoid occupying or using civilian or service facilities for illegal purposes. military.

The independent Union of Doctors of Sudan raises today in a statement the number of civilian deaths to more than 863 “while the count continues”, although it does not specify if that number includes the dozens of victims of tribal and ethnic clashes that have occurred recently in Darfur.
