Health pass: concern among fairgrounds due to poor attendance

Fairgrounds are concerned about their summer season. Since the health pass was established to access the fairs on July 21, attendance has dropped between 50 and 70%.

In Saint-Germain-en-Laye, the Fête des Loges sounds hollow. According to the fairgrounds: the rain, but especially the health pass. Taxed as of July 21 for amusement fairs, the pass indiscriminately affected all stands, including restaurants. For them, it caused a decrease in attendance between 50 and 70%.

Aurélien Hector, chairman of the Fête des Loges committee and owner of the “Milot” restaurant, shares the unease. “The problem is that we are among the first to worry when we are outside on public property in the middle of the forest,” he testifies.

The tent set up to allow those without a pass to perform an antigen test is unconvincing: according to some, stakeholders prefer to back down.
