The tourism and construction entrepreneur, Fernando Hazoury once again gave his support for the development of the Pedernales tourism project during the period of the beginning of construction of the first two hotels advance, Iberostar and Inclusive Collection Part of World of Hyatt in Cabo Rojo.
Hazoury, also president of the Board of Directors of Cap Cana, stressed that The country today has a favorable climate for national and international investment and urged to continue working in favor of this type of investment that means a growth in the tourism sector of the Dominican Republicrepresent a diversification of this, generates more jobs, and contributes more hotel and residential rooms that consequently translate into growth of the economy in general.
He said that as on previous occasions, calls on the State, the private sector and the nation in general to become increasingly aware of the importance of tourism in the countrywhich today is the largest source of income, which he calls our oil.
He applauded the effort put in by the central government, the General Directorate of Public-Private Partnerships in its director Sigmund Freund, and to all those involved in the development of Cabo Rojo Pedernales, a project that will undoubtedly be historic in the southern region of the country and its awakening.
“For more than two decades there has been talk of the beginning of this development. unquestionably The time has come for the South of our country with this Cabo Rojo Pedernales project, which is vital for the area and today is already a reality,” he added.
In addition congratulated President Luis Abinader who has personally and very emphatically committed to giving life to this project which will be, like others, a great tourist destination for the well-being of the country and especially of the Southern Region, providing good jobs and attracting more tourists, thus generating more foreign currency.
He reiterated that Cap Cana is devoting great efforts to holding different international meetings with businessmen, investors and hoteliers, among others, in search of more investments and diversification of the sector in order to continue the development and growth of the Destination City.
