Harry Kane scores for the second game in a row in Tottenham’s win

Harry Kane scored for the second successive game to secure Tottenham’s 1-0 victory over Wolverhampton on Saturday in the Premier League. The Spurs are still unbeaten at the start of the season.

Kane broke wide near the post to score with a header from Ivan Perišic’s corner kick in the 64th minute.

It was Kane’s 184th Premier League goal and moved him to fourth on the all-time list, beating former Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero. Only Alan Shearer, Wayne Rooney and Andrew Cole have more.

The England captain also fired into injury time as Tottenham drew 2-2 with Chelsea last weekend.

Tottenham have seven out of a possible nine points after starting the season with a 4-1 victory against Southampton.

Without Wesley Fofana, Leicester let the lead slip away to lose 2-1 at home to Southampton and continue their rocky start to the season.

Che Adams came on as a substitute and scored at 68 and 84 minutes – the second with spectacular scissors – for Southampton to get their first victory in three games.

Leicester, who went ahead on James Maddison’s free kick in the 54th minute, remain winless in the League despite leading both of their home games.

Elsewhere, Wilfried Zaha underscored his relevance for Crystal Palace and added two more goals as the team won for the first time of the campaign and turned around to beat Aston Villa 3-1, who have lost both of their away games and won at home against Everton.

England guard Jordan Pickford set up Demarai Gray for the equalizer as Everton picked up their first Premier League point in a 1-1 draw against newly promoted Nottingham Forest.

Aleksandar Mitrovic’s 90th-minute header gave Fulham a 3-2 victory over local rivals Brentford.
