The Club Dominicano De Corredores de Circuito (CDCC) and the organization company of speed events, Dominican Racing League DRL, unanimously awarded Harold Robles as “Pilot of the Year 2022”
Robles won the RS category of the National Motor Racing Championship, dedicated to the memory of Máximo Sarraf (El Pachá).
As Mechanic of the Year, Lenin Hernández was awarded, while the young Gian Paolo Andreassi was chosen as the “Rookie of the Year”.
Likewise, a special plaque was delivered to the journalist and narrator Aquiles José Ramírez, who served as director of Communications with a team that handled incidents in the car and motorcycle championship in recent years.
The CDCC board of directors headed by José Manuel Lora, president, and Víctor Montes de Oca, secretary, and the DRL headed by Arturo Estévez, representing Pavel Peláez, predicted success for the drivers for this 2023 championship and thanked them for their dedication during these two years that worked hand in hand to get the sport forward post pandemic.
They explained that for the scoops the winners of the first three positions in each category were taken into account and highlighted the atmosphere with a live orchestra and a special dinner with their family and friends of the pilots.

The awards ceremony for the main exponents of the past National Motor Racing Championship took place in one of the luxurious VIP lounges of the Las Américas Autodrome.
