Haris Rauf
The Pakistan cricket team, led by its new Test captain Shan Masood, had toured Australia in December 2023 to play a three-match Test series. During this period he suffered defeats in all three games. Not allowed to play in foreign leagues until June

In PCB’s official statement on Haris Rauf, he said that playing for Pakistan is the highest honor and privilege for every player. Refusing to be part of the Pakistan Test team without a medical report or a valid reason is a material breach of the central contract.
The chief selector had also expressed objections to Haris’ decision.
When Haris Rauf withdrew his name from the Australia tour after being included in the team, current Pakistan cricket team chief selector Wahab Riaz had also objected to his decision and stated that some key players of the team were no more be fit, as a player you should report yourself in such a situation and always be ready to play for Pakistan, even if you are a player who is in the central contract.
