Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya has confirmed that he and his wife, Serbian model and actress Natasha Stankovic, are separating. The couple had been the subject of rumors of a troubled marriage for several days, with Natasha even returning to her parents’ home in Serbia.
Relationship Falling Apart
Pandya and Stankovic shared a joint statement on their social media accounts, revealing that they had decided to separate by mutual consent after four years of being together. They expressed their gratitude for the time they spent together, but acknowledged that it was a difficult decision.
“We tried our best and put everything into saving this relationship. But now we feel that this is the right decision for both of us,” the statement read. “This was a very difficult decision for us, the happy moments spent together, mutual respect and each other’s company, whatever we spent together and enjoyed, moving forward as a family.”
Care of Son Agastya
The couple also addressed the care of their son, Agastya, who was born in 2020. Pandya reassured fans that they would continue to work together to give Agastya the best possible upbringing.
“We are lucky to have Agastya in our lives, who will always be the basis of our lives. Both of us will take care of him together. We will try our best to give him all the happiness in the world and do whatever we can for his happiness,” Pandya wrote.
Natasha Returns to Her Parents’ Home
Stankovic was spotted at Mumbai airport on Tuesday, accompanied by Agastya, before returning to her parents’ home in Serbia. Her social media post hinted at the couple’s separation, sparking speculation among fans.
Background on Natasha and Hardik’s Relationship
Natasha, a Serbian model, made her debut in Bollywood with an item song in Prakash Jha’s Satyagraha film in 2012. She has also appeared in reality shows like Bigg Boss 8 and Nach Baliye. Hardik and Natasha got engaged in January 2020 and married in May of the same year. They welcomed their son, Agastya, in July 2020 and had a grand wedding ceremony in February 2023.
