Harbhajan Singh Slams LSG Over Rishabh Pant’s Unsettling Behavior in Recent Match Against DC

Rishabh Pant, the most expensive player in IPL history, is struggling. In the last match against Delhi Capitals, he batted at number 7 with only two balls left. Before that, he was standing on the boundary looking dejected. Former cricketer Harbhajan Singh is puzzled by this and wonders who stopped Pant from batting sooner.

What Went Wrong?

Harbhajan Singh questioned the decision to send Pant in so late on his YouTube channel. He said, “Something must have happened in the Lucknow Super Giants team that upset Pant.” Harbhajan Singh added, “Pant batting at number 7 doesn’t make sense. Abdul Samad and Ayush Badoni batted ahead of him. Whose decision was this – the team management or Pant’s?”

Harbhajan Singh thinks Pant was upset about something. He knows Pant respects seniors and is a good guy. “If Pant isn’t doing well, will you send him in at number 7? He’s your captain,” Harbhajan said. “If the captain is unhappy, how can the team win?”

Rishabh Pant has been quiet this season. He has scored 106 runs in 9 matches, with a high score of 63 in one innings.

Lucknow Super Giants’ Current Status

Lucknow is fighting for a playoff spot. They have won 5 out of 9 matches and are sixth on the points table with 5 matches left. To stay in the playoff race, they need to win at least 4 of these matches. Their next match is against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on April 27 at 3:30 pm.
