Harbhajan Singh said goodbye to cricket and his wife Geeta Basra was excited, hints at a new entry

Harbhajan Singh, popularly known as Turbinator in the cricket world, put a stop to his 23-year international career today. He announced his retirement from cricket through a social media post. His wife Geeta Basra became emotional after Bhajji suddenly said goodbye to cricket. He made an emotional post on social media and hinted at Bhajji to start a new post.

Geeta Basra wrote on social media: “I know how long you have been waiting for this moment. Mentally you had already decided, but physically this announcement was just a formality. Today I want to say that I am very proud of you. You have achieved a lot in your career” .

He also said: “This journey to move forward will continue. Where many things are waiting for you. I have seen your stress and anxiety, as well as the fun and excitement while playing with you.”

Significantly, Harbhajan Singh played his last international match in March 2016. In this T20 match, Bhajji took a wicket for just 11 runs with a maiden in four overs. At the same time, he played the last One Day International match in October 2015 and the last test in August 2015.

Speaking of Bhajji’s international career, he made his debut for India in 1998. He played 103 rounds, 236 ODI and 28 T20 internationals for India. It has 417 windows in testing, 269 windows in ODIs and 25 windows in T20 Internationals.
