Hannun acquires 51% of the Danish company We do Wood

The sustainable furniture and decoration company Hannun has formalized the purchase of 51% of We do Wood's share capital, a Danish minimalist furniture design and production company. This operation, announced last August, will provide added value to shareholders since, among other things, it will expand the Hannun product catalog by adding the Danish company's references. Specifically, the company has more than 150 unique designs made from certified (FSC) oak.

Expansion into the Scandinavian region

Is about an important acquisition for the group to expand geographically in the Nordic region. In addition, it is an opportunity for Hannun to expand the B2B2C sales channels in which We do Wood specializes. For its part, the Spanish company will improve the Danish company's online sales platform.

The CEO and owner of We do Wood, Klaus Jorletexplained in a statement that “He is excited to begin this journey with Hannun and looks forward to seeing We do Wood reach its full potential in the coming years.”

The business is therefore part of Hannun's strategy to grow inorganically. This plan began a few years ago by the company, which came after the purchase of Artesta at the end of 2022. With this initiative, the company recorded organic growth of more than 40% with the support of Hannun.

Finally, the mission of the Spanish company is to consolidate in the sustainable furniture and decoration industry in Europe.
