Hamilton Tests Ferrari SF24 at Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya This Week

Lewis Hamilton is making progress in his adaptation to Ferrari. He has already driven red cars and will continue this process, this time at the controls of the SF-24. Ferrari is set to conduct more tests at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, and Hamilton will be behind the wheel of the car that Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz drove last season.

Hamilton, who was involved in an accident last week but did not suffer any injuries, can now accumulate more kilometers thanks to an event organized by Pirelli. This comes as a welcome opportunity for the seven-time Formula 1 world champion. Having previously driven the SF-23, he will now have the chance to get familiar with the SF-24. Although it is not the same as driving the car that Ferrari will use in the upcoming season, it will still be beneficial for him.

Additional Testing Opportunities

Charles Leclerc will also benefit from the Pirelli test, as the accident Hamilton had on the Catalan track prevented him from driving on that day. Leclerc had previously experienced bad luck at Fiorano, so these new tests will be advantageous for him. The tests will provide both Hamilton and Leclerc with valuable opportunities to gain more experience and prepare for the upcoming season.
