Hamilton Refuses to Apologize for Being a Fighter After Miami Grand Prix Radio Comments

Lewis Hamilton is standing by his radio comments during the Miami Grand Prix, saying they were laced with sarcasm.
He wasn’t angry, just frustrated that his team wasn’t moving fast enough to help him overtake Charles Leclerc.
“I was thinking, ‘Come on, guys, I just want to win,'” Hamilton said.
He’s still hungry to win. As a fighter, he won’t apologize for that.

When making split-second decisions, Hamilton said he goes with his gut.
He doesn’t have time to analyze data; he has to decide who’s the fastest on the track.
The pressure to make a move is different when you’re behind or in front.
When you’re behind, you feel like you need to pass right away.
When you’re in front, you’re worried about being passed because of DRS.

Hamilton made his point by recalling a situation that happened 10 laps later, where the opposite occurred.
He believes that his instincts are usually right, even if they don’t always work out.
The seven-time champion is confident that his team shares his desire to win.
