The long wait for Hades II version 1.0 is finally over. The game spent more than a year and a half in Early Access. Now, players can dive into the full experience. The team behind the game has a surprising message for everyone, though.
Players who started with the Early Access version received a special welcome when they logged in yesterday. This message thanked all the fans who helped shape the game’s development. It also shared news about future plans. The team will release patches to fix any remaining bugs they can. After that, they intend to “disappear into the shadows.” They plan to rest, recharge, and then start planning their “next project.”
Hades II first hit Early Access in May 2024. It brought many improvements, building on the already excellent first game. The new 1.0 version introduces huge upgrades to gameplay and other features. Many are already calling it a strong contender for Game of the Year.
