Haas Unveils VF25 Formula 1 Car at Silverstone Circuit

This Sunday, February 16, Haas revealed the new VF25 during a ‘Filming Day’ at the Silverstone circuit, marking the beginning of their pre-season Formula 1 campaign. By doing so, the American team has decided not to wait for the upcoming event at the 02 Arena, instead choosing to roll out their car ahead of schedule.

New Faces and Expectations

This year, Haas starts the season with two new faces on board. On one hand, they’ve hired a pilot with experience in the category, Esteban Ocon, who will debut with the team after his recent departure from Alpine. On the other hand, they’ll also be seeking to capitalize on the potential of a ‘rookie’, Oliver Bearman, who has already demonstrated his talent in his past performances with Ferrari. It’s an interesting combination, and it’ll be worth watching how they work together to achieve the team’s goals.

As Haas had previously announced, they would reveal their new car before the major Formula 1 event in London. True to their word, the team has now shown off the new VF25 for this season. However, the livery seen during the ‘Filming Day’ won’t be the definitive one, so we can expect some changes before the season kicks off.

A Glimpse of the VF25

The person in charge of filming the VF25 today at the Silverstone circuit was none other than Esteban Ocon himself. In addition to the unveiling, Haas has also shared photos of their pilots with the new team colors on social media, giving us a glimpse of what we can expect from the team this season. The VF25 has been showcased in detail during the ‘Filming Day’, with the team providing a closer look at their new car.

Haas’s Mission for the Season

Haas’s mission for this season is clear: maintain the good performance they had last year and secure a mid-table position, allowing them to fight for points in each race. Last year, the American team ended in seventh position in the Constructor Championship, managing to overwrite teams like RB and Williams, and finishing just 7 points shy of Alpine. It’s an ambitious goal, but with their new lineup and the VF25, they might just have what it takes to make it happen. Can they build on last year’s success and take their performance to the next level? Only time will tell.
