GXO expands its relationship with FARFETCH for the growth of Reebok’s e-commerce in Europe

Vital boost for employment in the region

GXO filled FARFETCH’s need for a quick start, opening approximately 40,000 square meters of warehouse space within weeks of signing the deal, and is providing inbound, warehousing, picking, packing and shipping services for B2B and FARFETCH B2C. GXO is also processing and renewing returns on the premises. The approximately 500 employees hired to operate the FARFETCH warehouses represent a vital boost to employment in the region, and before the end of the year GXO expects to begin adding automation to further improve efficiency and increase overall safety.

FARFETCH centers are fully equipped with energy efficient LED lighting and were built to operate without fossil fuels; There is no natural gas connection, so the temperature control is powered by electricity and the vehicles, like the material handling equipment, are completely electric, using lead-acid and lithium batteries.
