Gwyneth Paltrow Turns ‘Groupie’ for Son Moses Martin’s Touring Band

Gwyneth Paltrow recently offered a glimpse into her life as a proud parent, cheering on her son Moses Martin’s burgeoning music career. The 53-year-old actress shared a series of photos from October on Instagram, prominently featuring Moses, 19. He is her son with Coldplay frontman Chris Martin.

Paltrow captioned her post about wrapping up fall on the East Coast. Her activities included a trip to the Hudson Valley and a memorable dinner in New York City.

The photos showcased autumn foliage and Paltrow’s encounters with Moses. They also included celebrity friends such as Demi Moore, Sara Foster, and Amy Griffin.

Moses’s band, previously known as Dancer, has officially rebranded as People I’ve Met. The trio announced their new name on Instagram last month.

His sister, Apple Martin, 21, reacted enthusiastically to the name change. She commented, “Wowwww new name alert???!!! Omg 😍😍.” Stepsister Izzy Falchuk added, “Best news I’ve seen all day 🙌.”

Paltrow married Brad Falchuk in 2018. He also has a son, Brody, from a previous marriage.

People I’ve Met has been actively touring across the United States. They recently performed at notable New York venues including the Bowery Ballroom and Irving Plaza.

Their tour schedule also brought them to Portland and Seattle. The band is set for upcoming shows at Baby’s All Right in Brooklyn on November 8, 15, and 22.

Singer-songwriter Holly Williams expressed her support on Paltrow’s post. She commented, “Look at that big beautiful boy! I NEED to see a show, I love all these pics.”

Paltrow had previously celebrated Moses’s musical talent on his 19th birthday in April. She shared images from a video call showing him playing the guitar.

In her Instagram birthday message, Paltrow wrote, “Happy birthday @mosesmartin ❤️ You are honestly a dream come true. You are deeply kind and brilliant.” She praised his intelligence and talent, noting she listens to his music on repeat.

Moses attends an East Coast university while balancing his band’s performance schedule. His musical lineage is strong, with his father, Chris Martin, leading Coldplay since 1997.

Moses has collaborated with Coldplay, co-writing and contributing to songs like “All My Love” and “Orphans.” He also provided vocals for “Humankind.”

His impressive musical contributions extend to “The Astronaut,” a song by Jin of BTS.

Chris Martin, 48, has also publicly shown his support for his son’s musical journey. In 2016, he brought a then-10-year-old Moses on stage to sing a Twenty One Pilots song at a charity event.

This past April, Martin made a special FaceTime call to Moses during a tour stop. He wished his son a happy birthday in front of thousands of screaming fans.

“I love you so much, son,” Chris told Moses on stage. He concluded, “I’ll call you in a bit. Happy birthday, son. I love you,” before kissing the phone screen.
