Gunmen attack mosque in Nigeria, kidnap 19 worshipers

A group of armed men attacked a mosque and abducted 19 worshipers in a troubled region of the African country of Nigeria.

According to foreign media, the incident took place in Maigamji village in Katsina state, Nigeria, where armed attackers stormed the mosque during Maghrib prayer and opened fire. has been transferred.

Local police spokesman Gambo Isah said that after the shooting, they kidnapped 19 worshipers and fled.

Officials said 15 people were killed and several others injured in attacks by bandits on villages in Kaduna state last month.
